Photographer with four years of guest-facing work aboard a Hawaiian cruise ship, at a Christian mountain camp and conference center, and in restaurant kitchens. Aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America I ran studio portrait stations and the gallery sales floor, finished the contract as the Photography Department’s top salesperson, and received forty-one written guest commendations. Eagle Scout. Comfortable with long days, large groups, and people who did not plan on having their picture taken.

  • Photographed guests across the full cruise week: embarkation, formal portrait nights, themed events, dining rooms, celebrations, and port days in Kahului, Hilo, Kona, and Nawiliwili.
  • Set up and ran studio portrait stations with DSLR cameras, off-camera flash, continuous lighting, and printed and digital backdrops; posed couples, families, and groups of ten in under two minutes.
  • Culled, color-corrected, and retouched thousands of images per voyage in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, then tagged and organized them in NCL’s gallery and sales system for print and digital delivery.
  • Sold photo packages, prints, digital files, 3D crystals, frames, wall art, cameras, and accessories on the gallery floor; ran kiosks and POS and resolved guest concerns on the spot. Led the department in sales; highest guest tips on the team.
Alpine Retreat & Camp

Camp Host & Program Staff · Blue Jay, California

  • First to greet arriving groups and their point of contact throughout the stay, including late-night and after-hours coverage; resolved guest and facility issues and handled last-minute requests.
  • Youth counselor and instructor for middle- and high-school campers in groups of up to 30, and one of the kids’ favorites; facilitated the challenge course: high ropes, climbing wall, zip line, and belay.
  • Red Cross certified lifeguard; called in for a large group at the sister camp, Mile High Pines, and helped save a child’s life in the pool, staying calm under pressure. Also maintenance, painting from a scissor lift, housekeeping turnover, and dining service.
